About Kathryn Jenkins
Since 1986, Ms. Jenkins has gained experience as a zealous family law practitioner and advocate. She is well experienced in all areas of domestic relations law. She has a broad knowledge of both the law and personalities associated with family and parenting dynamics, domestic violence, substance abuse, real property, personal property, and related financial issues including investment and retirement accounts. She has extraordinary organizational skills. Members of the Bench and Bar have complimented her abilities and work product as being innovative. She is complimented often on her effective and profound problem solving skills. She has successfully argued several cases to the appellate courts that have been published.
Ms. Jenkins’ practice emphasis has been Family Law matters, including child custody, divorce, support related matters, domestic violence, modifications of parenting plans (including relocation) and child support.
Professional Recognization and Awards:
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children recognized Ms. Jenkins’ commitment to the protection of children and knowledge of international child abduction issues in 1998 by delivering to her an Award of Merit after successfully representing a client in the recovery of her child that had been the victim of an international abduction. Ms. Jenkins has also been recognized for the past several years in King County Superior Court for providing pro bono legal services to those in need. The Washington State Bar Association has recognized and honored her with awards for her pro bono legal services. She has been recognized as being professional in the discharge of her professional responsibility by the King County and Snohomish County Superior Courts as well.
